Vinted Members Express Anger About Size Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has revised its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
Another shopper, from Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
